Kingman - Byron G. Cox, 73, died at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday at his home about a mile northwest of here after a long illness. He was born Sept 29, 1887, in Fountain Couty, a son of E.M. and Mary C. Tomlinson Cox. He was married to Mary L. Marshall, Jan 1, 1910. Mr. Cox, a life long resident of this community, attended the Kingman schools. He was a member of the Methodist Church and 40-year-member of the Fountain County Farm Bureau. Survivors include his wife; a son, Ellsworth, at home; two sisters, Miss Ethel Cox of Akron, Ohio and Mrs. Letta Eberle of Covington; two brothers, Elsto of Veedersburg and Wayne of Cayahoga Falls, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Woodrow Funeral Home here with Rev. John Mull in charge. Burial in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
